Baroness Warsi studied Law at Leeds University and went on to work for the Crown Prosecution Service. She also became the first Muslim to serve as a Cabinet minister in 2010 and was appointed chair of the Conservative Party, making her the first Asian to hold this position. In 2009, she was named ‘Britain’s most powerful Muslim woman’.
